CloudOps Engineer I / IS - Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure Services / Full-time / Days

The CloudOps Engineer I supports the development and operations of the technology infrastructure, focusing on cloud environments and assisting with infrastructure management and systems administration.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and operations of the technology infrastructure, focusing on cloud environments
• Assist with infrastructure management, systems administration, and the operation of orchestration engines
• Ensure application uptime, contribute to cloud disaster recovery planning, and engage in related initiatives

Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, systems administration, or a related role
• Fundamental understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
• Basic knowledge of automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and management tasks. Powershell preferred
• Experience with system troubleshooting and problem-solving across various application domains and platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support senior engineers
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to system incidents outside of regular business hours
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
• Master's Degree preferred
• Any additional Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer are preferred
