Job Overview

In this remote data entry associate role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that require attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in using computer applications. Your primary focus will be on scrubbing, researching, and validating provider contract records, updating status in customer systems, and researching and installing healthcare provider contracts. You will also be responsible for retrieving and entering data from various sources, analyzing information to identify potential problems, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of transactions to meet or exceed client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Scrub, research, and validate provider contract records to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Update status in customer systems and ensure timely completion of transactions
  • Research and install healthcare provider contracts, including verification of provider information, contract accuracy, and database loading
  • Retrieve and enter data from computer/web-based systems, files, and other documents
  • Analyze information collected to identify potential problems and discrepancies
  • Apply healthcare and insurance domain knowledge to undertake problem-solving and ensure accurate results
  • Identify and resolve routine and non-routine problems, escalating to more proficient team members when necessary
  • Monitor email box and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and education. The essential requirements include:

  • 1+ year of experience in a role that required a focus on quality, including attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability for your work
  • 1+ year of experience in a professional/office-related environment, such as office support, data entry, clerical, or customer service
  • 1+ year of experience using a computer with Windows applications, including keyboard navigation, multiple screen management, and learning new software tools
  • An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the essential requirements, the following skills and qualifications are preferred:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in a professional/office setting, both orally and in writing
  • Effective troubleshooting skills, including research, analysis, and problem-solving abilities
