About the Job and Group

The Endorser Lifecycle Investigation group at arenaflex is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join their team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in estimating, comprehending, and taking action to moderate supporter churn across a growing ecosystem of arenaflex's web-based service contributions. Your expertise in exploratory data analysis, modern reporting, data perception, and storytelling will help drive business direction and inform key decisions. Collaborating closely with teams across the Direct to Consumer association, as well as partners from specialty units, you will develop insightful, compelling, and strategic analyses that make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate complex business questions into SQL, including precise cohorting, calculations, filtering criteria, and aggregations
• Communicate complex trends and churn drivers to a wide range of stakeholders with varying technical expertise, from functional groups to executive audiences, both in oral presentations and written reports
• Engage with other Analysis groups to analyze retention performance of key business initiatives across content, engagement, and marketing areas
• Build and maintain operational dashboards in Tableau and Looker to grasp performance over time, enable effective exploratory analysis, and provide partners with self-serve tools
• Partner closely with business stakeholders (Product, Business Operations, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to identify and unlock opportunities for improved supporter retention

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Analysis, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, or a related field
• At least 3 years of Data Analysis experience
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to apply business acumen to data analysis and recommendations
• Capacity to think strategically, analyze and interpret first and third-party data
• Experience manipulating large datasets and interpreting data patterns using a variety of data sources and tools
• Experience with data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker
• Solid technical and scientific skills to handle problems, analyze the cause, quickly devise potential solutions, detail the changes, and communicate business impact
• Evident experience with specifying data requirements, data architecture, data rules (normalization, cleansing, and validation)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience in the streaming media industry or supporting a direct-to-consumer or subscription-based product
• Experience presenting and contributing to data stories that are communicated to key stakeholders

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:

• A salary range of $98,000 to $131,300 per year in New York, NY, and $93,400 to $125,200 per year in Santa Monica, CA
• A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be offered as part of the compensation package
