Senior Performance Engineer/Jmeter Consultant/Performance Tester- Remote
The Role
This role focuses on ensuring the quality, stability, and scalability of customer-facing digital applications through deep expertise in performance engineering and capacity analysis. Responsibilities include designing and executing load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing; building performance strategies aligned to application architecture and business needs; and integrating performance validation into CI/CD pipelines. The position emphasizes observability, anomaly detection, and proactive capacity planning to improve system reliability, efficiency, and delivery speed across complex, distributed ecosystems.
The role requires strong analytical skills to interpret performance results, system metrics, and historical trends to identify bottlenecks, forecast growth, and recommend optimizations. Collaboration with development and infrastructure teams is central, along with the ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with monitoring and observability platforms, cloud environments, containerization technologies, modern application architectures, and data visualization tools is expected.
Must Haves:
• 10+ years of experience
• Java, some ability to code and program as needed
• Hands-on cloud/AWS experience
• Testing skills (JMeter, LoadRunner, Java)
