Entry Level - Territory Sales Specialist, Wound Closure
Corza Medical is dedicated to supporting surgical providers with exceptional products and services. The Territory Sales Specialist will develop relationships with surgeons and clinical staff while driving growth in non-acute markets through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Manage a defined non-acute territory to meet or exceed sales goals for Corza Medical’s Wound Closure and surgical product portfolio
- Identify and convert new customer opportunities through prospecting, product presentations, and follow-up
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, clinical staff, and procurement/purchasing teams
- Conduct in-services, product demonstrations, and staff education sessions to support product utilization
- Develop account strategies that increase product adoption and market share within assigned territory
- Monitor customer activity, market trends, and competitor actions; communicate insights to sales leadership
- Maintain accurate sales and activity records using CRM (Salesforce.com)
- Demonstrate a proactive, self-motivated approach to managing sales activities, time, and travel
- Travel within assigned territory up to 30% of the time; territory covers Chicago, Minneapolis, Cleveland, Columbus, Des Moines, Detroit, and Milwaukee
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- 0–2 years of sales or customer-facing experience (B2B, healthcare, or related fields)
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
- Ability to travel within territory and occasionally overnight
- Must live within the assigned territory area
- This role requires meeting the hospital credentialing requirements
- Interest in medical device or healthcare industry; previous internship or entry-level exposure is a plus
