Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at arenaflex. As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in developing and scaling out AI and machine learning solutions that enhance the efficiency, reliability, and performance of our IT operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy innovative solutions that utilize machine learning, deep learning, and statistical analysis to predict and analyze data on hardware and software systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement AI and machine learning models that predict and analyze data on equipment and software systems to prevent outages and pinpoint errors
  • Work independently to design, code, test, debug, and document AI and machine learning solutions
  • Support processes related to the implementation of systems into production, including integration of purchased solutions
  • Utilize machine learning, deep learning, and statistical analysis to develop models that enhance the efficiency, reliability, and performance of our IT operations
  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders through outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and collaboration within the team, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive success

Essential Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in AI with domain knowledge and experience in data-driven statistical modeling, discriminative techniques, feature extraction and analysis, and supervised learning
  • 2+ years of experience in a programming language such as Python, R, SQL, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience in data extraction, wrangling, visualization, and analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other quantitative field; or equivalent working experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling data from multiple sources and through big data platforms (such as GCP, AWS, etc.)
  • Experience building scalable AI models and solutions
  • Experience investigating and implementing statistical models, machine learning algorithms, or other customized solutions that demonstrate significant impact in solving complex business problems
  • Experience optimizing existing data pipelines by investigating unstructured data sources and designing new features
  • Ability to offer technical support and expertise to the broader team
  • Graduate degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other quantitative field; or equivalent working experience
