**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced remote live chat agent to join our team and provide exceptional customer support to our clients. As a live chat agent, you'll be responsible for interacting with customers via live chat software, responding to their inquiries, and providing accurate and concise assistance. You'll also be expected to create relationships with new customers, promote interest in our clients' products and services, and consistently achieve established standards of the position.
**Responsibilities**
As a remote live chat agent, your key responsibilities will include:
* Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
* Evaluating customer interactions and elevating issues to Live Chat Manager when appropriate
* Creating relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
* Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately
* Promoting interest in client products and services
* Consistently achieving established standards of the position
* Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image
* Providing administrative support
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Strong work ethic, with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment
* Keyboarding and internet experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal
* Upbeat, positive attitude, and professional demeanor
* Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role
* Ability to compose professional emails
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:
* Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a live chat or call center environment
* Familiarity with live chat software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
