Job DescriptionRole: Data Modeler/ArchitectLocation:New Jersey - Remote Type: ContractThis is a remote opportunity, however one monthly visit is required to the offices in New Jersey, as well as working under EST.RESPONSIBILITIES1. Creation, optimization and maintenance of conceptual, logical and physical database models2. Documentation of functional requirements and system specifications into the data architecture and detailed design specifications for current and proposed designs3. Demonstrate proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options, and where appropriate, leading to resolution4. Maintaining highly effective and consistent communication within the team, peers, and the leadership team.5. Expert-level knowledge of SQL Server 2014, 2016 and Azure SQL DatabaseQUALIFICATIONS1. 3+ years demonstratable work experience as a Data Architect using data modeling tools such as Erwin, Toad or ER/Studio2. 5 years' experience in a data analysis or data management role3. Experience designing data warehousing solutions4. Erwin Data Modeling experience5. Accounting and/or Tax knowledge6. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Azure Sql, Azure Data Flow7. Strong working experience designing ETL solutions (Azure Data Factory & SSIS)8.
