About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Entry and Operations Analytics professional to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Operations Analysis and Performance (OAP) department, you will be responsible for curating and analyzing data to inform business decisions, driving process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve our goals. This is a remote work opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Locate and extract data from various sources for use in analysis, models, and project development
  • Clean and curate datasets by identifying new data sources, collaborating with other business units, and aggregating views into meaningful hierarchies
  • Familiarize yourself with data environments and collaborate to enhance automated reports and analyses in support of divisional leaders and business units
  • Leverage emerging technologies and proactively explore efficient and effective ways to communicate data and analysis to meet divisional needs
  • Support strategy development and project management engagements for individual business units and cross-divisional initiatives
  • Train and mentor other team members in various skills and subjects
  • Practice security-aware behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
  • Embody a team-first mindset with the success of our team and business partners as the top priority
  • Be intellectually curious, ask questions, and communicate when you have an idea
  • Experience working in high-profile environments with fluid priorities, ambiguity, and competitive deadlines

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of associated experience
  • Proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT patterns
  • Proficiency with Python, SAS, or other comparable tools and programming languages
  • Ability to troubleshoot a reporting database environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously and manage multiple requests with varying timelines
  • Self-starter with a resilient, solution-minded approach to complex problems, working individually or in a team
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal information
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or certificate in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, or other applicable quantitative field
  • Previous experience in the airline industry or a related field
  • Working knowledge of and/or experience with cloud-based solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, GPC, etc.)
