Job Overview

The Literacy and Numeracy Tutor will play a vital role in supporting the implementation of SRBI (Scientific Research-Based Interventions) for both Literacy and Numeracy, with a focus on Tier II Interventions and progress monitoring. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, students, and other stakeholders to identify areas of need, develop targeted interventions, and track student progress towards SRBI goals. This position offers a unique chance to work with elementary school students, providing one-on-one support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation of SRBI for Literacy and Numeracy, focusing on Tier II Interventions and progress monitoring
  • Work closely with teachers to identify areas of need and develop targeted interventions for students
  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to elementary school students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve academic success
  • Track student progress towards SRBI goals, using data to inform instruction and make adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to student learning
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and involving them in the educational process

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree and have a passion for working with elementary school students. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisting with the implementation of SRBI in the areas of literacy and numeracy, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong understanding of child development, learning theories, and educational best practices is also essential.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive rate of pay, depending on education and experience. The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 with a Bachelor's Degree and $22.00 with a current teaching certificate.
