About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our growing team in Chattanooga, TN. As an RBT at arenaflex, you will work directly with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, providing one-on-one in-home ABA therapy and implementing behavior support and treatment plans. You will be responsible for collecting behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions, conducting discrete trials, and working collaboratively with BCBAs to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents on the autism spectrum
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions to inform treatment plans and track progress
  • Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans under the guidance of a BCBA
  • Work collaboratively with BCBAs to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, providing excellent customer service and support
  • Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of quality and integrity

Requirements

To be successful as an RBT at arenaflex, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or be working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred
  • Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting, demonstrating your ability to provide personalized support and care
  • 1-year ABA Experience, or equivalent experience working in a related field (e.g., Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor)
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, providing clear and effective support to our clients and their families
  • Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle, enabling you to travel to client homes and provide in-home support

Physical Requirements:

  • Employee must be able to lift up to 35lbs, ensuring you can provide safe and effective support to our clients
  • Required to perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time, demonstrating your ability to work in a variety of settings and environments
  • Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children, ensuring you can provide prompt and effective support
  • Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings, providing flexible and adaptable support to our clients
