You'll be responsible for providing exceptional service, resolving customer issues, and modeling best practices to ensure a distinctive and delightful customer experience. If you're a people person with a passion for delivering outstanding service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. ### Key Responsibilities * **Customer Experience** + Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services + Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience + Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience * **Operations** + Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service + Recommend items for sale to customers and suggest trade-up and/or companion items + Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested + Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed + Maintain a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters and shelves + Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader * **Asset Protection and Compliance** + Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss + Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products) * **Visual Merchandising** + Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise + Complete resets and revisions as directed * **Photo Services** + Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine + Suggestively sell promotional photo products * **Web Pick-up and Maintenance** + Monitor orders in Picture Care Plus and fill orders (pick items) + Deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store + Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance ### Essential Qualifications * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours * High school diploma or equivalent required; prior work experience in a retail environment preferred ### Preferred Qualifications * Six months of experience in a retail environment * Prior work experience with blithequark preferred * Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) preferred ### Skills and Competencies * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register * Familiarity with store systems and equipment ### Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
