Job Summary

As an HR Customer Support Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in responding to customer inquiries related to Open Enrollment via written internet-based email or case sessions. Your expertise will be essential in resolving customer open enrollment inquiries regarding EDI files and COBRA, documenting customer information, and configuring settings as required by each case. You will also communicate necessary updates to carriers, partners, customers, and internal teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of cases and client load to meet service level agreements, responding to customers in a timely fashion with relevant updates and providing world-class customer service.
  • Apply strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and data management skills to resolve complex customer inquiries and issues.
  • Set and reset expectations clearly, demonstrating excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing, ensuring that customers are informed and satisfied throughout the support process.
  • Proactively address challenges and opportunities, taking ownership of customer issues and working collaboratively with internal teams to resolve them efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and adopt them to enhance customer support processes, improving overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience in the HCM or benefits sector is highly preferred, as is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Ideally, you will have 3+ years of experience in a customer support or implementation type role, with knowledge of Open Enrollment, EDI files, COBRA, Benefits Administration, Insurance, and Payroll.
