Quantitative Finance Developer to join their team as part of the RISQ division dedicated to Global Markets. The MMG team is responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting, and certification to multiple partners and stakeholders, including Front-Office, Finance, and Risk Management divisions. As a V.I.E. Quantitative Finance Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on the trading floor at Societe Generale Americas in New York City and be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of financial markets. Key Responsibilities Develop various certification and reporting tools to support the MMG team's activities Design and develop libraries to help analysts work with time-series datasets and run back-tests on statistical models Suggest, design, and develop tactical and long-term strategic solutions that will become part of the overall MMG framework/platform across P&L, income attribution, VaR, stress, and Market Risk processes Participate in the Digital Transformation of the RISQ department, including tactical developments and training on new technologies Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Master's degree from a Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Financial Engineering, Market Finance, or Computer Science Fluent English language skills (B2-C1 level) Knowledge of derivative instruments and experience within Financial Services Good command of Python and programming skills Proficient/Good command of MS Office Good communication and presentation skills Detail-oriented, proactive, and prone to taking initiatives Preferred Qualifications and Skills In addition to the essential qualifications and skills, the following are preferred: A previous experience in Python and Object-Oriented Programming Knowledge of a BI tool Experience with HTTP APIs and Git Version Control Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits As a V.I.E.
