As a work-from-home opportunity, this role offers the flexibility and autonomy to work in a self-directed manner while contributing to the success of our organization. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced EBO Data Entry Specialist to join our team in Melbourne, FL. As a key member of our EBO Division, you will be responsible for processing high volumes of credit card payments, updating Excel documents, and performing various clerical duties. If you're a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities** As an EBO Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: * Manually post transactions for non-automated client systems * Accurately process via online systems credit cards and phone checks collected by EBO on a daily basis * Update Excel documents specific to the department * Perform various clerical type duties on a regular and as needed basis * Collaborate with the Support Team Leader, Operations Manager, Coaches, and Customer Service Reps on a daily basis as needed **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: * GED, High School Diploma, or higher degree * Familiarity and proficiency on a personal computer and basic Windows-based operating systems * Strong knowledge and understanding of the EBO Private Pay process (although not mandatory) * Experience (6-12 months) in A/R is preferred but not required * Proficient in bolthires Excel (strongly preferred) * High degree of understanding of basic accounting/bookkeeping principles (preferred) * Ability to work a shift of Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. * High degree of detail-orientation * Ability to multi-task and remain focused while performing repetitive tasks * Ability to work in a self-directed manner **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Experience working in a medical data systems environment * Knowledge of medical billing and coding principles * Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) * Experience working with credit card processing systems * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a member of blithequark's team, you will have access to a range of career growth opportunities and learning benefits, including: * Ongoing training and development programs * Opportunities for professional growth and advancement * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Access to industry-leading technology and tools **Work Environment and Company Culture** blithequark is committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that supports the well-being and success of our employees.
