About the Opportunity
Bridgecross LLC is offering a Federal Contract Administrator Internship through the DoD SkillBridge Program, focused on providing hands-on experience in federal contracting, GSA administration, and regulatory compliance. This virtual internship is ideal for candidates with at least two years of prior experience in contracts administration, procurement, or government operations. Interns will support contract negotiation, compliance, and audit readiness across multiple contract types, including CPAF, CPFF, FFP, and T&M, while learning the full lifecycle of federal contract management.
Responsibilities
• Support due diligence for new federal clients, joint ventures, and teaming arrangements.
• Assist with contract review, negotiation, and documentation management.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and company contracting policies.
• Maintain accurate contract records and documentation of signature authority.
• Support cost proposal and pricing preparation.
• Participate in internal and external project audits and compliance reviews.
• Coordinate with federal contracting officials and prime contractors as needed.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in contracts administration or procurement.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contracting requirements.
• Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS and government acquisition procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contracts, Legal Studies, or related field.
• Familiarity with GSA Schedules, Salesforce, or federal procurement systems.
• Interest in pursuing NCMA certifications (CFCM or CPCM).
