This position is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical, behind-the-scenes work of tracking partnership books, tax basis, and allocations. Partnership Tax Allocations • Track 704(b) and 704(c) allocations • Track book vs. tax realized gains and losses • Maintain accurate partner-level book and tax basis schedules Partnership Accounting • Prepare annual financial statements for investment partnerships • Reconcile bank accounts and other cash activity • Record cash and property contributions/distributions • Maintain accurate financial reports and supporting documentation • Account for debt investments, passthrough entities, and marketable securities • Assist with the accounting and analysis of complex investment transactions What We’re Looking For • 3–5 years of experience in investment partnership accounting • Hands-on knowledge of IRS partnership allocation rules (704(b)/704(c)) • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
