About the position The Business Strategy Manager I at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company is responsible for gathering data, structuring analytical approaches, and developing financial models to establish new product pricing strategies that align with the overall profit and loss (P&L) objectives of the business. This role involves presenting financial analyses to senior management, managing pricing updates, and optimizing margins through cost-saving programs while collaborating with various business groups to ensure timely pricing execution. Responsibilities • Gather data and structure analytical approaches to develop financial models. • Establish new product pricing strategies to achieve overall P&L for the business. • Present financial analysis to senior management and build alignment on pricing strategy. • Develop special price lists for customers based on pricing strategy. • Manage sustaining pricing updates and pricing actions. • Address pricing escalations and provide projections on pricing trends for commodities. • Optimize margin and revenue through cost savings programs. • Work closely with different business groups and regions within HPE to ensure pricing is met in a timely and consistent manner. • Identify research, tools, and analysis required to achieve objectives for multiple workstreams or projects. • Manage the development of project guidelines, contingency plans, objectives, and deliverables. • Consult with business leaders on a wide range of issues related to the strategy formulation process and related projects. • Independently draft and present client deliverables, recommendations, and communication strategies. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Business Administration or related field. • Three (3) years of work experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
