Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled YouTube Expert (Podcast Content Optimizer) to enhance and optimize the performance of our clients’ podcast video content on YouTube. The ideal candidate understands how to publish podcast episodes as YouTube-optimized content that ranks, retains viewers, and grows channel authority. Our production team will handle video edits—your role is optimization and performance strategy. If you understand YouTube’s algorithm, metadata strategy, SEO best practices, and thumbnail/title optimization, you’ll be a perfect fit. Responsibilities Vary by Client • Optimize podcast videos for YouTube: titles, descriptions, metadata, tags, timestamps, and end-screen strategies • Design or guide creation of high-performing thumbnails • Analyze viewer retention, CTR, watch time, and engagement • Implement YouTube SEO strategies to increase discoverability • Build playlists and optimize channel layout and branding consistency • Research keywords, competition, and trends to maximize visibility • Monitor analytics and provide actionable insights • Recommend adjustments based on audience behavior and algorithm changes • Collaborate with the production team to improve overall video performance Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field (preferred) • 3+ years of hands-on YouTube channel management or optimization experience • Demonstrated success growing YouTube channels or improving video performance • Strong understanding of YouTube Search & Discovery and ranking factors • Proficiency with YouTube Studio, TubeBuddy, vidIQ, or similar tools • Strong copywriting skills for SEO-friendly titles and descriptions • Ability to turn podcast content into engaging YouTube formats • Excellent communication skills and comfort working independently in a remote environment • Must be a US resident (required) Compensation & Perks • Pay: $25 – $100+ per hour (DOE and measurable results) • Fully remote—set your own schedule • Direct impact helping local businesses grow their online visibility • Flexible, supportive, collaborative team culture How to Apply Please send your resume and a brief note confirming: • Your experience optimizing YouTube content or channels • Your top YouTube accomplishments (with links to channels or videos) If there’s a fit, we’ll schedule a Zoom meeting to walk you through our model.
