• Document all encounters clearly and thoroughly in the EHR, including diagnoses, treatment plans, work restrictions, and medicolegal elements relevant to personal injury claims.
• Interpret diagnostic studies (e.g., radiology reports, CT/MRI summaries, laboratory data) to support clinical decision-making and causation opinions.
• Develop and manage treatment plans, including medications, referrals to specialists, therapy recommendations, and appropriate follow-up intervals.
• Provide clear patient education on injury, prognosis, conservative management, and red-flag symptoms that require in-person or emergency care.
• Collaborate with chiropractors, physical therapists, pain specialists, and attorneys as appropriate to coordinate care and ensure consistent documentation for personal injury cases.
• Prepare and review narrative reports, telehealth chart notes, and other documentation that may be used in claims, depositions, or legal proceedings, while maintaining objective medical standards.
• Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, state telehealth regulations, payer requirements, and internal protocols for documentation and record retention.
• Experience and Qualifications
• MD with an active, unrestricted medical license in the state of California.
• Clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, occupational medicine, or personal injury/med-legal work strongly preferred.
• Prior telehealth experience and comfort performing virtual exams and documenting findings to med-legal standards.

• Ability to interpret imaging and medical records related to musculoskeletal, soft tissue, and neurologic injuries common in personal injury cases.
• Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding for injury-related encounters to support accurate billing and compliant documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail in charting and reporting.
What We Offer
