IT/ Cloud Consultant /

Opportunity: Virtual Service Operations is searching for an IT Cloud Consultant to support a large scale active directory migration and consolidation in a multi-domain environment. Qualifications: • 10 years of experience in the IT industry, out of which a minimum of 5 Years supporting Enterprise Customers with deep skills and hands on knowledge in MS Active Directory, Quest Migration Tools and having performed large scale AD migrations, consolidations in multi forest and multi domain environments • Active Directory (AD) Management: Proficiency in managing and migrating Active Directory environments, including user accounts (db, app, and user), access controls, and network resources) • Network-Attached Storage (NAS) • Server Management: Experience with Windows and Linux/Unix server management, including migrations • Scripting and Automation: Ability to create and use scripts for automating migration tasks, such as re-permissioning file shares and converting authentication clients for Linux systems • Authentication Systems: Knowledge of authentication systems, particularly transitioning from Centrify and SSSD to AD Bridge authentication software • Project migration experience • SAN Storage • Storage Engineering • Storage Services • Security Compliance: Understanding of various security compliance standards, including ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, and CMMC • Preferred Requirements: ITIL Processes: Familiarity with ITIL processes to ensure minimal impact on end users and production applications during migration Requirements • Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status • Must be willing and able to work remotely What is Important to Us: • You are an excellent communicator in writing and speaking. • You have the ability to work independently but also value teamwork. • Your problem-solving skills are excellent. • You are looking for a job where performance appraisals occur regularly, and you look forward to advancing your career. • You seek a community of virtue-centered co-workers and clients.
