Project overview
I’m looking for an experienced motion designer to create a short, seamless looping abstract swirl animation based on an existing reference video I’ll provide. The animation will be used as a subtle, premium background in a website hero section, adding life and motion without distracting from the headline and primary CTA.
Deliverables
• 1x seamless looping abstract swirl / vortex animation inspired by my reference video (no text, no audio)
• Style: smooth, fluid motion, minimal and clean, on‑brand colors that match
• Duration: [3-6] seconds, perfectly loopable
• Formats:
• Required: MP4 or WebM optimized for web background
• Nice to have: source file (After Effects or similar) and/or Lottie export for future edits
• Resolution & aspect ratio: [e.g. 1920×1080, 16:9] suitable for desktop hero (please advise if you recommend any alternative)
• Web‑ready output: reasonable file size, smooth playback, no heavy strobing or visual noise
What I will provide
• Reference animation video showing the type of swirl motion and feel I’m aiming for
• Brand assets: website URL, logo, primary colors, and fonts
• Timely feedback on up to rounds of revisions
Requirements
• Proven experience as a motion designer with examples of abstract/background or UI motion work in your portfolio
• Strong skills in After Effects or similar tools, including creating seamless loops
• Experience preparing animations for web use (export settings, file size optimization; Lottie experience is a plus)
• Ability to follow a reference and improve it while keeping it minimal and non‑distracting
Timeline & budget
• Start: ASAP
• First preview/concept: within [X] days of project start
