ABC and Hulu Comedy Intern

Join ABC and Hulu’s Comedy team as a full-time intern supporting scripted comedy series development and current programming. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Support Assistants with production grids, project tracking, calendar invites, calls/voicemails, video conference setups, and daily administrative tasks. • Assist the Coordinator with administrative tasks and project tracking. • Read scripts, write coverage, and engage with various media including podcasts, TV series, movies, novels, comic books, web series, and social media personalities relevant to development. • Distribute documents and media internally. About You The company is looking for: • Proven skills with Google Suite and MS Office Suite (Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Previous internship experience in a related field. • Interest in scripted television and eagerness to learn about television. • Strong attention to detail. • Responsible, dependable, organized, with excellent communication and writing skills. • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments by deadline. • Preferred: Experience covering phone lines for executives or senior leadership. • Preferred: Knowledge of current ABC, Hulu, and other network series. • Preferred: Interest in comedy and knowledge of stand-up, improv, and sketch talent. • Senior year preferred. • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university or currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. • Must be at least 18 years old and possess unrestricted work authorization. Compensation & Benefits • Pay rate of $22.50 per hour (California). • Select benefits may be provided, including medical, financial, and/or other benefits depending on level and position.
