Type of Resource Needed
• Skill Set:
• API Management Expertise: Ability to configure APIs, policies, authentication, and routing within Azure API Management.
• Security & Governance: Knowledge of OAuth, certificates, rate limiting, and compliance requirements.
• Integration Experience: Familiarity with SAP connectivity and REST API design.
• Lifecycle Management: Ongoing maintenance, versioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of APIs.
• Role Profile:
• Typically falls under Application Integration Engineer, Cloud Solutions Developer, or API Platform Administrator.
• This is not a pure infrastructure/network role; it's closer to App Dev or Middleware Integration.
• Responsibilities:
• * Configure APIM instance post-deployment (policies, endpoints, authentication).
• * Manage developer portal and subscription keys.
• * Handle future integrations (e.g., Power BI, other apps).
• * Monitor performance and apply updates.
• * Ensure security compliance and scalability.
