[Remote] Data Visualization Specialist – Analytics & Reporting

TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is seeking a Data Visualization Specialist to design and deliver intuitive dashboards and performance metrics. The role focuses on supporting analytics, reporting, and leadership decision-making through effective data visualization tools. Responsibilities • Design dashboards and visualization tools that present complex data in clear, actionable formats • Develop performance metrics and reporting solutions for leadership and operational teams • Ensure usability, clarity, and compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards • Support leadership briefings and create compelling communication materials using data-driven insights Skills • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in data visualization, dashboard design, or business intelligence • Proficiency with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik • Strong understanding of accessibility standards (Section 508) and user-centered design principles • Ability to translate complex datasets into intuitive, interactive visualizations • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accessibility compliance • Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to technical and non-technical audiences • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or related field • The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation • Experience supporting federal programs or large-scale analytics initiatives • Certifications in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or UX/UI design Company Overview • TISTA is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) and trusted partner of innovative IT solutions for the federal government.
