Job Description We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented YouTube Video Editor to join our content creation team. We are launching a new series consisting of 100+ videos in the near future, and we want to find the perfect long-term partner through a paid trial project. Proven Experience: Must have at least 5 years of professional video editing experience. Please be sure to include a link to your portfolio in your application. 2. Technical Proficiency: Must be highly proficient in all the software listed below (see "Required Software Skills"). 3. Time Zone Synchronization: Your working hours must align with China Standard Time (CST, UTC+8). We typically communicate during our workday, which is 9AM to 7 PM Beijing, China Time. 4. Efficiency & Reliability: Must be capable of completing 1-2 edited videos per week and ensuring timely delivery. We are looking for a partner we can absolutely rely on. Trial Project Details: Before entering into a formal, long-term arrangement, we offer a paid trial project to assess compatibility and skill. Project Scope: Edit a 1-2 minute test video. Compensation: $30 USD (This is a fixed project fee to fairly compensate you for your time and to assess your technical and communication skills). Purpose: This is not just a test; it's a chance for us to get to know each other and establish a smooth workflow. We will evaluate your editing quality, creative flair, and responsiveness to feedback. Future Opportunity: Candidates who successfully pass the trial will be offered the contract for our long-term project of 100+ videos with a reasonable, long-term rate. • *** Important Note: For a project of this scale, we will be carefully evaluating a combination of your capabilities and your quoted price, both of which are very important to us. • *Required Software Skills:** To efficiently produce high-quality work, you must be an expert in the following software and their advanced functions: Core Editing Software: Adobe Premiere Pro:Must be an expert.We need someone who can handle multi-track video, complex timelines, and efficiently use markers and editing tools. Motion Graphics & Visual Effects: Adobe After Effects: Must be an expert. This is essential for creating all animated elements. You should be able to create dynamic text, infographics, simple transition effects, and animate logos and graphics. Adobe Photoshop: Must be proficient. Used for manipulating static images, creating title cards/thumbnails, and image retouching. Audio Post-Production: Adobe Audition (or equivalent software like Pro Tools, Logic Pro):Must be proficient. We require professional-level audio editing, including noise reduction, volume balancing, background music mixing, and ensuring clear, high-quality voiceovers. Workflow Expectations: Communication: Primary communication will be through the Upwork platform. You must be able to understand and act on feedback and requests clearly and promptly. Delivery: Each final video will be delivered as a high-quality MP4 file (1080p or 4K, depending on project requirements). Feedback Loop: Each video will include at least 1-2 rounds of free revisions to ensure the final product perfectly meets our expectations. How to Apply: 1.
