App Developer for Home Projects App Build

Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Mobile Developer (React Native) to build the V1 Minimum Viable Product (MVP) of a home improvement and contractor application. This app is designed to displace existing market solutions (like Project Map It and Company Cam) by offering superior organic SEO benefits, media management, and referral tracking. We have a complete technical package ready for you. You will be provided with full wireframes, database schemas, UX flows, system architecture diagrams, and API specifications for the backend. We need a developer who can take these requirements and execute the build efficiently. Core Responsibilities (V1 Scope) You will be responsible for building the mobile interface and integrating with our backend APIs to deliver the following core features: Project Creation & Management: Functionality for contractors to create and manage both interior and exterior home service projects. Advanced Media Capture: Photo and video capture capabilities directly within the app. Annotation & Tagging: Similar to Company Cam, users must be able to annotate photos/videos and tag them (e.g., identifying damage or project phases). Weather Verification Engine: Integration with NOAA/PSAI data to verify storm history and weather events for specific project locations. Referral Network System: A feature track neighborhood referrals, conversations, and reward flows. Testimonial Collection: Simple flows for collecting client testimonials on-site. Future Roadmap (Potential Long-Term Work) While this contract is for the V1 MVP, we have a defined roadmap for V2 and V3 that successful candidates may continue working on. Future features include: AI Automation: Automated damage detection (hail, granular loss) using computer vision. Presentation Builder: AI-driven generation of sales presentations using project media. 3D Reconstruction: Latent space modeling to create virtual 3D walkthroughs from 2D images. Technical Requirements Framework: React Native. Experience: Strong background in mobile media handling (camera, storage, annotation libraries).
