About the role The Back End Developer is responsible for website and membership platform project, providing the unique opportunity to shape the future of a new initiative from the ground up. This role demands a developer with expertise in back-end technologies, particularly within cloud-based environments, who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. The role requires an experienced and innovative Back End Developer to help with technical management, development, and maintenance of our website, external user portal, and learning management system. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in both headless and traditional CMS, best practices in website architecture, deployment, and change management, as well as modern coding languages. We are seeking an experienced and innovative Back End Developer to oversee the technical management, development, and maintenance of our web-based projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in WordPress, LearnDash and MySQL. This role is critical to ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that align with our organisational goals. Essential criteria Advanced proficiency in WordPress development and architecture. Deep understanding of LearnDash LMS development and customisation. Expertise in PHP, including object-oriented programming and MVC frameworks. Familiarity with other CMS platforms or frameworks. Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards.
