Role: Software Developer Intern (Contributor) Location: Remote Duration: Internship Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Software Developer Intern to contribute to GENIE AI with a passion for building impactful applications. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in app development, learn from industry professionals, and contribute to exciting projects in a collaborative environment. As an Software Developer Intern, you will work closely with our team to create and enhance applications while expanding your technical skills. Responsibilities: • Assist in the development and implementation of front-end and back-end solutions using NestJS, MongoDB, MySQL frameworks. • Collaborate with team members to design, code, test, and deploy mobile and web applications. • Troubleshoot and debug application issues, identifying and resolving bugs to improve performance. • Contribute to the design and development of intuitive user interfaces and engaging user experiences. • Work on optimizing applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness. • Participate in code reviews and receive mentorship to improve coding skills. • Document project tasks, processes, and technical findings for reference. • Stay curious and learn new tools, frameworks, and techniques relevant to app development. Qualifications: • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Basic understanding of programming languages like NestJS, MongoDB, MySQL • Familiarity with front-end frameworks or mobile development tools (Flutter). • Knowledge of back-end technologies like Node.js or APIs is a plus. • Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment and communicate effectively. • Previous app development projects (personal, academic, or professional) are a strong advantage.
