Overview:
dotBleu LLC seeks a legal researcher or consultant with strong skills in regulatory and comparative legal analysis to prepare background materials for our counsel.
The MVP connects U.S. senders of urgent documents with travelers to Sierra Leone (digital matchmaking platform).
You’ll compile key legal references and examples to help our attorney draft the final documents efficiently.
Deliverables:
1) Regulatory Summary: TSA, DOT, and IATA policies for individuals hand-carrying documents.
2) Marketplace Comparison Table: Liability & ToS frameworks from Uber Connect, Roadie, Airbnb Deliveries, and TaskRabbit.
3) Data Privacy Overview: U.S. state laws + Sierra Leone Data Protection Act 2023.
4) Risk & Compliance Matrix: Identify potential areas requiring formal legal opinion.
5) Draft Outline: Recommendations for ToS and Privacy sections to be lawyer-reviewed.
Ideal Background:
- Law graduate or legal researcher experienced in tech startups / cross-border commerce
- Strong legal writing and citation skills
- Understanding of data privacy (GDPR, CCPA) and logistics regulations
- Prior work with international platforms is a plus
