Correspondence Representative
About the position
Responsibilities
• Process inbound documents (emails, faxes, website inquiries, voicemails) with accuracy.
• Follow up on incomplete or misrouted documents to ensure correct handling.
• Maintain a processing rate of at least two (2) minutes per entry.
• Manage a high volume, fast-paced work queue while maintaining processing quality.
• Communicate professionally with providers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy and security guidelines.
• Stay organized while working independently in a remote setting.
Requirements
• High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience.
• Must be 18 years of age OR older.
• Experience with PC based software programs and automated database management systems; Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday with flexibility to work any of the 8-hour shift schedules during normal business hours.
Nice-to-haves
• 1+ years of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools.
• 1+ years of experience processing medical, dental, prescription or mental health claims.
