Providence Health Plan is calling a Senior Privacy Analyst, HIPPA Investigations who will: • Work as a Lead HIPAA Privacy Investigator • Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of investigating and resolving privacy breaches related to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy regulations as well as other state and contractual requirements • Play a critical role in ensuring compliance within the context of health plan operations to protect the privacy and security of our member’s health information We welcome 100% remote work for residents who reside in one of the following States: Washington, Oregon and California Required qualifications for this position include: • 3+ years demonstrated successful and progressive staff and/or management experience • 2+ years demonstrated successful experience working with administrative, policy and/or operational aspects of HIPAA/privacy regulations, preferable in a managed care environment Preferred qualifications for this position include: • Bachelor’s Degree in HIPPAA Compliance, Healthcare Administration or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience • Advanced degrees or certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP) • Experience with HIPAA compliance, healthcare administration, or another related field of work • Extensive knowledge of HIPAA privacy regulations, breach notification requirements, and related laws and regulations, specifically within the health plan context Why Join Providence?
