REMOTE POSITION / CLAIMS PROCESSOR
Follows procedures to process death claim transactions by corresponding with agents, beneficiaries, and other departments regarding policies
Willingness to learn new payment processes and/or other processes within death claims depending on where the need is on any given day
Responsible for the accurate handling and timely execution of any policy worked
Ensure transactions are processed on our administrative systems accurately and in a timeframe considered suitable by MetLife guidelines
Must provide an elite customer service experience via letters or phone calls made internally or externally
Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer's experience
High School Diploma completed
2+ years of relevant life insurance death claims business experience
Claims processing experience
Working knowledge of life insurance products and applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines
Microsoft Office and MS Teams work experience
Great typing and documenting skills
Empathy, sensibility and high sense or touch are necessary for the type of support we provide to our customers
Inbound/outbound customer service experience and communication skills are required
Great ability to multitask between clients applications and DXC systems
Bachelors Degree is preferred
Remote Laptop, Docking Station, Monitors, Headset will be provided
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:30am to 4pm EST would be preferred
This position is fully remote within the United States only
