**Job Summary**
We are seeking an Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and architectures that support our business operations. You will work closely with our data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers to ensure that our data solutions meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and develop large-scale data pipelines and architectures using a combination of local AWS services and Amazon internal tools and technologies
* Collaborate with business partners to understand their requirements and work closely with them to ensure that data being ingested addresses their business needs and is well-documented and coordinated to support adaptable use and good data cleanliness
* Learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and business needs, assembling and improving structures and cycles, and incorporating new patterns and innovations where suitable
* Gather and discuss requirements from business partners across verticals like Memberships, Deals, Reverse Planned operations, Finance, Product, etc.
* Build new data ingestions using a combination of local AWS services or internal Amazon tools
* Maintain and improve existing data ingestions and ensure they meet evolving guidelines and corporate directives
* Build, improve, and maintain systems or tools for internal team and external partner use to manage data
* Perform code reviews and ensure best practices are followed for ETL and data cleanliness by colleagues and supporting teams

The Ring Data Warehouse team at blithequark is responsible for managing the centralized data warehouse for Ring. We collect and distribute data from various internal and external sources, which are used by different partners, such as Ring Product design, Finance, Inventory network, Marketing, Customer support, and Sales data. We are committed to recruiting talented individuals who share our vision and are passionate about data engineering and cloud application development.
**Fundamental Capabilities**
* 3 years of experience in data engineering
* Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
* Experience with SQL
**Preferred Capabilities**
* Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
* Experience in at least one current programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
* Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
