You will work closely with our Quality Control team to develop and implement data-driven solutions that enhance our operations and customer experiences. This is a 12-week internship position, with the possibility of conversion to a full-time role. **Responsibilities and Expectations** As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include: * Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components. * Helping to create and present results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. * Assisting with exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities. * Presenting findings, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding. * Helping to develop and disseminate specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements. * Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team. * Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors. * Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision. * May perform other work duties as directed by Group Leader. **Requirements and Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A strong ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data with care and accuracy. * The capacity to effectively listen, understand, and communicate ideas and present written, verbal, or presentation-based information to discussions of varying audiences. * The ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. * A working knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Familiarity with data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred. * The ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning. * The ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred. * Past internship, capstone project, and research coursework is preferred. * The ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-focused environment. * The ability to focus on responsibilities seriously and be a self-motivated individual. * Past internship experience in a related field is preferred. * The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately. * The ability to plan and support large business initiatives. **What We Offer** As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about innovation and customer satisfaction.
