We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to reflecting the diverse communities we serve. **Job Summary** As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement. You will work closely with our Quality Control team to develop and implement data-driven solutions that enhance our operations and customer experiences. This is a 12-week internship position, with the possibility of conversion to a full-time role. **Responsibilities and Expectations** As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include: * Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components. * Helping to create and present results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. * Assisting with exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities. * Presenting findings, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding. * Helping to develop and disseminate specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements. * Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team. * Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors. * Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision. * May perform other work duties as directed by Group Leader. **Requirements and Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A strong ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data with care and accuracy. * The capacity to effectively listen, understand, and communicate ideas and present written, verbal, or presentation-based information to discussions of varying audiences. * The ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. * A working knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Familiarity with data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred. * The ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning. * The ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred. * Past internship, capstone project, and research coursework is preferred. * The ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-focused environment. * The ability to focus on responsibilities seriously and be a self-motivated individual. * Past internship experience in a related field is preferred. * The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately. * The ability to plan and support large business initiatives. **What We Offer** As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about innovation and customer satisfaction.
