**Key Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:
* Performing data entry and document scanning of purchase order requisitions into our electronic financial system
* Sending approved documents to external vendors and internal University departments
* Providing assistance with answering phone calls and general email inquiries
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
* Collaborating with Purchasing Department staff to ensure seamless data entry and document processing
* Identifying and resolving data entry errors and discrepancies
* Staying up-to-date with system updates and new procedures
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma or GED
* Minimum of 2-3 years of on-line data entry experience
* Detail-oriented with excellent figure aptitude and organizational skills
* Ability to transcribe numerical data into electronic format with high level of accuracy
* Strong data entry and verification skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
* Ability to quickly learn new programs and applications
* Strong oral and written communication skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
We're looking for candidates who can commit to working 4 hours daily, 20 hours weekly. If you're available to work this schedule, you'll be well-suited for this role.
