Position Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, while also working closely with our team to research, organize, and book travel plans. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating professionally with clients and teammates via phone, email, and chat
  • Determining clients' wants, needs, preferences, and budget to create customized travel plans
  • Researching and booking travel arrangements, including hotel stays, resorts, car rentals, airport transfers, airfare, cruises, tours, and activities
  • Creating quotes, itineraries, and invoices for clients
  • Staying up-to-date with travel industry changes and restrictions to ensure accurate and informed advice
  • Collaborating with our team to resolve client issues and concerns
  • Participating in live and recorded trainings and meetings to stay informed about company policies and procedures

As a Customer Service Specialist, your performance will be measured by:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Have a reliable internet connection, computer, and/or smartphone
  • Be available to attend live and recorded trainings and meetings
  • Be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, and be willing to learn and adapt
  • Be able to work independently, but willing to ask for help and guidance when needed

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Travel Industry Experience: Previous experience in the travel industry, either as a travel agent or in a related role.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer-facing roles, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, as well as experience with travel industry software and systems.
