About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Experience Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Customer Experience (CX) Strategy & Operations team. As a key player in this role, you will be responsible for uncovering insights, crafting compelling visual narratives, and gaining a deep understanding of business operations to inform data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about complex problem-solving, motivated by scale, and eager to make a meaningful impact on the customer experience.

Who You'll Work With

As part of the Customer Experience Strategy & Operations team, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Support, Community, QA, Business Intelligence, Data Scientists, and Data Engineering. This role will be instrumental in shaping data-driven decision-making across the organization, and your expertise will be valued and respected by stakeholders and senior leaders alike.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the exciting challenges you'll be working on include:

  • Partnering with stakeholders and senior leaders to understand business goals and translating them into analytical stories and solutions.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to identify trends and patterns that inform business strategies and improve the customer experience for post-purchase customer journeys via Support and both B2B and B2C segments.
  • Designing and building an intuitive portfolio of dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI.
  • Writing efficient SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Investigating data anomalies and working with data engineering to trace issues to source systems.
  • Documenting data tables, definitions, logic, and processes to ensure transparency and repeatability.
  • Supporting strategic initiatives with data-backed insights and recommendations.
  • Championing a culture of curiosity, continuous learning, and business acumen within the BI function.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience in a BI, analytics, or business operations role.
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort working with relational databases.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
  • A passion for understanding how the business works – not just the data behind it.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and navigating ambiguity.
  • Familiarity with data validation, data lineage, and collaborating with data engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, it's great if you have:

  • Experience in SaaS or customer experience-focused organizations.
  • Exposure to tools like Salesforce, dbt, Databricks, Gainsight.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies and analytics trends.

Skills and Competencies

To excel in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills, including:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional development, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Career Growth and Learning Opportunities

At blithequark, we're committed to helping you grow and develop your skills and career. You'll have access to:

  • Continuous learning and development opportunities, including training, mentorship, and coaching.
  • A annual learning stipend to invest in your growth and development.

  • A culture of feedback and continuous improvement, with regular check-ins and performance reviews.

  • Access to a range of employee benefits, including comprehensive health coverage, parental leave, and flexible paid time off policies.
  • A culture of recognition and reward, with opportunities for peer-to-peer recognition and employee appreciation.
