**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Customer Care Professional to join our UK Merchant team, providing top-notch service to our valued merchants and internal stakeholders. As a Customer Care Professional, you will be responsible for:
* Providing excellent levels of service to American Express' UK Merchants, including responding to phone calls, resolving issues, and celebrating their value to us.
* Responding quickly and accurately to merchant customer questions and issues via phone and cases.
* Owning issues to the point of resolution, offering unique solutions, and managing a workflow in line with departmental and individual goals.
* Working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of day-to-day workloads, requiring an outstanding multi-tasker with a flexible approach to daily tasks.
* Having a problem-solving mindset and previous customer service experience, either face-to-face or over the phone.
**Key Responsibilities**

* Outstanding multi-tasker with a flexible approach to daily tasks.

**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center or retail environment.
* Knowledge of American Express products and services.
* Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

**Work Environment**
* Hybrid environment, including 3 days a week in the office and the option for 2 days working from home.
* 35 hours per week between Monday to Friday, shifts varying between 8am- 6pm.
