About the Role: Customer Service Representative - Medical Billing Call Center

In this critical position, you will be the voice of blithequark, serving as the primary point of contact for our clients and patients. Your role will involve addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information regarding medical billing and related services. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, courtesy, and patience, ensuring that every interaction reflects positively on our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound calls from clients and patients regarding medical billing inquiries, concerns, or issues, providing timely and accurate resolutions or escalating complex matters as necessary.
  • Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to de-escalate conflicts, negotiate resolutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical billing processes, insurance claims, and relevant healthcare regulations to provide informed support and guidance.
  • Document all interactions accurately and efficiently in our customer relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring that records are comprehensive and easily accessible for future reference.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including billing, claims, and patient advocacy, to resolve customer complaints and improve overall service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and stay current with industry developments and best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our customer service operations by providing feedback and suggestions for process enhancements.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business, communications) preferred.
  • 1-2 Years of Experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or medical billing environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and empathetically.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills, with the capacity to analyze situations, identify solutions, and implement effective resolutions.
