With a revolutionary technology platform that takes the guesswork out of the job, we empower our Customer Solutions Specialists to excel in their roles and make a real difference in people's lives. **Job Summary** We're seeking experienced and customer-oriented candidates to join our team of Customer Solutions Specialists (CSSs). As a CSS, you'll take in-bound calls from members in need of roadside assistance (tire change, jump start, tow) via phone, arrange the needed service by selecting and dispatching a service provider, and provide customer care and follow-up. If you're looking for a career where you can utilize modern technology to perform basic tasks such as address location, research, and basic typing, we could be a great fit for you! **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Solutions Specialist, you'll be responsible for: * Answering inbound member calls and providing exceptional customer service * Asking essential questions to understand each member's unique situation and navigating our computer program to locate each member and identify nearby service providers * Accurately collecting and performing data entry of all required member/provider information * Using professional communication etiquette and active listening skills to assist members/providers with their needs dispatching the correct service * Demonstrating efficient call control with the ability to follow a script for various partners/scenarios and deescalate situations when necessary to achieve member assistance and support * Consistently meeting company standards and specified goals as assigned by management on a regular basis * Maintaining confidentiality of account information and escalating any issues that may arise to management * Adhering to the prescribed policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A minimum of 1 year of call center or customer service experience, resulting in enhanced empathy skills and the ability to assist members with grace * Excellent communication skills, including a professional, articulate voice and the ability to listen and communicate effectively * The ability to multi-task in several computer applications while typing quickly and accurately and holding a conversation with a member * Emotional resilience and the ability to handle upset members in a calm, professional manner * A positive attitude and the ability to work well with others * The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional attitude **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: * Experience working in a 24x7x365 call center environment * Familiarity with dispatch technology platforms * Basic typing skills (at least 40 wpm) * High school diploma or equivalent **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively * Emotional intelligence and empathy * Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry * Ability to learn and adapt to new technology and systems **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
