PR Coordinator, Brand PR – Brand Programs, Scaled Events, JWN Campaigns - (Hybrid - Seattle, WA)

About the Role: We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative Public Relations Coordinator to join the Nordstrom Brand PR team. This role is essential in supporting the day-to-day operations of the team and ensuring the seamless execution of PR initiatives that elevate the Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack brands. Key Responsibilities: • Media Monitoring & Reporting: Track media coverage and compile daily recaps, support the team in producing campaign-specific reports. • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity. • Maintain and update PR tools, databases, and contact lists. • Develop and manage PR assets including image galleries, press rooms, and media kits. • Assist with occasional sample procurement and PR seeding initiatives. • Support the planning and execution of PR events and activations. • Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and vendor coordination. • Maintain organized files and documents for team operations. • Respond to regional press inquiries and support local media efforts, and Nordstrom Rack PR in partnership with PR Manager • Have a fluent understanding of media and social media landscape, develop and maintain relationships with relevant media and influencers. • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of information being processed, stored, or accessed. • Maintain a strong understanding of available tools/techniques (Cision, Trendkite, Launchmetrics, etc.) including new media platforms, newswires and apply effective approaches to tasks and initiatives. • Provide administrative support to the corporate affairs team as applicable. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or related field. • 2+ years of professional experience, PR or Marketing experience preferred • Proficient in media platforms, tracking and reporting press coverage • Ability to effectively build relationships with customers, peers, and cross functional partners • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Strong organization and attention to detail skills • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively • Proficiency in MS Office suite and Adobe • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills We’ve got you covered… Our employees are our most important asset and that’s reflected in our benefits. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. $31.75 - $50.50 Hourly This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
