Plot reviewer/ Editor / Proofreader for Mystery-Psychological Novel
I'm looking for a skilled and insightful editor and plot reviewer to help shape and refine a 10,000-word mystery-psychological fiction manuscript—the first in a planned four-book.
This role is more than just editing grammar and punctuation. I need someone who can:
-Read and assess the plot for strength, clarity, and emotional impact.
-Collaborate with my writer to improve story structure, pacing, and character development.
-Provide developmental and line editing to elevate the writing quality.
If this first collaboration goes well, I’d love to continue working with you on the rest of the series.
Requirements:
Experience editing mystery or psychological fiction.
Ability to give constructive, actionable feedback.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Budget:
For this initial project, I’m offering $50–$100 for the 10k-word manuscript review and edit. I’m open to adjusting based on your experience and the depth of feedback provided.
