About the Position

We are currently looking for highly motivated and customer-centric individuals to fill the role of Customer Service Advisor, working on a night shift basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving queries, and promoting products that meet our customers' needs. This is a permanent position, offering a salary of £18,860 per annum (pro-rated) for an average of 28 hours per week, working on a 4 on 4 off rota. You will rotate between two shifts: 16:45 pm - 00:45 am and 10 pm - 6 am.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inbound customer queries via phone and email
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Promote products and services that meet customers' needs, achieving sales targets and goals
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling a high volume of calls and emails within a shift
  • Utilize multiple systems and software applications to resolve customer queries and update records
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Contact centre customer service experience is essential
  • Good basic IT skills, including proficiency in navigating multiple systems and software applications
  • Strong written literacy skills and excellent communication skills
  • Positive and self-confident approach when dealing with customers over the phone
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle a high number of calls/emails within a shift
  • Must have worked in a past position that includes a night shift

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are desirable:

  • Previous experience working in a remote or home-based environment
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and software applications
  • Experience of working in a target-driven environment, with a focus on sales and customer service
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems, processes, and technologies
