Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Tutor, Executive Functioning & Math Coach to join our team in Denver. As a key member of our team, you will work one-on-one with middle and high school students who require support with executive functioning, neurodivergent challenges, and academic success. Your expertise in tutoring and coaching will enable you to create personalized learning plans, foster a growth mindset, and empower students to develop essential skills for self-advocacy, time management, and emotional regulation. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one academic coaching and Math subject tutoring to students in grades 9-12, focusing on executive functioning, neurodivergent challenges, and academic success.
• Develop and implement personalized learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs, learning style, and goals.
• Collaborate with students, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each student's strengths, challenges, and progress.
• Conduct regular progress updates with parents, providing guidance on strategies to support their child's development and success.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in executive functioning, neurodivergent coaching, and academic support.
• Contribute to the growth and development of our team by sharing expertise, providing feedback, and participating in team-building activities.

Essential Qualifications

• Demonstrable ability to tutor Math (15-20 hours per week of availability)
• Earned Bachelor's Degree
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
• Passion for helping others learn and grow, with a strong commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Experience working with students who are diverse learners and require support with executive functioning, neurodivergent challenges, and academic success
• Background in tutoring or teaching executive functioning, test prep, math, reading, or writing
• Proven ability to personalize instruction to individual student's learning styles and needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with students who have learning differences, challenges, or disabilities (ADHD, Dyslexia, Executive Functioning deficits, etc.)
• Background in cognitive coaching, neurodivergent coaching, or related fields
• Experience with online tutoring platforms and tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and communication
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends, during the school year
