Key Responsibilities

• Drive Sales Growth: Contribute directly to sales and margin objectives within assigned categories, analyzing important data and integrating findings and recommendations into Class Plans.
• Develop and Execute Marketing Programs: Create and implement marketing programs, including ideal SKU mix, ExtraCare loyalty programs, and special projects.
• Analyze Sales Data and Inventory Levels: Break down sales records and stock levels of current stock, identifying areas for improvement.
• Competitor Analysis: Research client product preferences, supplier costs, and the competitive landscape, providing insights and recommendations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Stock, Estimating, Advancement, Money, Store Brands, Store Configuration, Advertising, and Store Operations.
• Strategic Execution: Drive strategic execution of daily plan activities, tracking progress and making adjustments as necessary.
• Stay Up-to-Date with Market Trends: Stay informed about changes in the market, competitor activity, and customer preferences.

Essential Qualifications

• Retail Math Concepts: Working knowledge of retail math concepts and demonstrated application.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; some experience with databases or data analysis tools.
• Communication and Analytical Skills: Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide insights.
• Travel: Willingness to travel 5-10%.
