About the Role

We are on the hunt for an exceptional educator who embodies tenacity, passion, excitement, and grit to fill the position of an Online General Education Instructor at our Online Campus. Our faculty members play a pivotal role in the teaching and learning process, ensuring that students achieve mastery of course, program, and institutional learning outcomes. You will be supported and supervised by our Academic Dean, Program Director, and/or Campus Director, ensuring that you have the resources needed to excel in your role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and Learning: Facilitate engaging and interactive online classes that foster student learning and mastery of course materials.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of curriculum and course syllabi to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
  • Student Support: Provide individualized support to students, offering guidance and feedback to help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student learning outcomes, using data to inform teaching practices and improve student success.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to share best practices, develop new courses, and enhance the overall educational experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should possess a Master's Degree in Communications, Speech, or a related field; or a Master's Degree in another area with 18+ graduate hours in Communications or Speech. While teaching experience is not mandatory, expertise in your field and a passion for education are essential. Essential Qualifications

  • A Master's Degree in the teaching area or a related field.
  • 18+ graduate hours in the teaching area if the Master's Degree is in another field.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
