About the Role

The IT Operations Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with IT staff and business clients to develop, update, and document operations processes. You'll translate high-level requirements into functional specifications for new operations tools and manage changes to such specifications. This role will work closely with development organizations throughout the project lifecycle to validate expectations, complete operations project tasks, and prepare the operations staff for new implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, update, and document operations processes and procedures
• Gather, develop, coordinate, and maintain requirements for operations projects from initiation to final implementation, ensuring deliverables meet requirements
• Maintain and communicate operations project status and issues
• Collaborate with project teams and business clients regarding new systems development to ensure that operations standards are adhered to and prepare the operations staff to provide support
• Work with support staff and vendors to ensure that current systems comply with operations policies and performance standards
• Collaborate with application teams and business clients to establish service level agreements for operations capabilities
• Participate in coordination and acceptance testing of new systems and lead from an operations perspective
• Understand business and technical requirements
• Support the day-to-day operation of Delta's Network
• Follow procedures to ensure vendors can be paid for products and services
• Assist vendors with addressing payment issues
• May perform other duties as assigned

What Will Give You an Edge

The following qualifications are preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field
• Experience with Cloud Technologies, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure
• Experience working in a Data Center or Network Operations Center
• Experience working with Network Security or Firewalls
• Internships/Co-op/Extracurricular experiences
