But what we’re looking for is someone who is obsessed with the written word—someone whose passion for prose has been refined through years of dedication and meticulous craftsmanship. And someone who is capable of elevating content from great to unforgettable and from the ordinary into extraordinary. Duties and Responsibilities: • Content and Accountability: Developing content briefs, outlines, and design prompts to guide writers and designers in creating content that aligns with customer goals and brand voice. • Quick Writing Tasks: Managing quick writing tasks for timely revisions. • Digital Media Editing: Applying best practices for digital media content across different channels. • Time Management: Adhering to designated editing time guidelines for various tasks. • KPI Reporting: Regularly reporting on established metrics. • Customer Engagement: Engaging with customers through interviews, building deep connections, being present for feedback calls, and proactively requesting calls to be better aligned on content needs. • Onboarding New Customers: Participating in the customer onboarding process. • Writer Coaching: Providing guidance and feedback to writers to improve content quality. • Content Editing and Feedback: Conducting the first round of edits and providing valuable feedback to writers. • Design Feedback: Offering instructions and feedback on design elements to ensure visual appeal and content effectiveness. • Proactive Learning: Actively seeking training opportunities in marketing and technological advancements. • Marketing Expertise: Maintaining a strong marketing knowledge base with ongoing education, especially regarding best practices and AI advancements. • Certifications and Professional Development: Maintaining the HubSpot Inbound Certification and other relevant HubSpot digital marketing courses and certifications. Requirements • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing with an understanding of what it means to create content for digital media. • Minimum 2 years of professional editing experience. • Proficient in Word (using tracked changes), Google Docs (using suggesting), Google Sheets, and Google Slides. • Must be HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certified. • Must have high-speed internet and a functional computer. • A working understanding of common SEO best practices. • Impeccable verbal and writing skills with attention to detail, grammar, and style. • Has a working knowledge of how to integrate AI into their processes. This is a contract role. Invoices are paid twice per month.
