Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Therapist
Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and be committed to providing high-quality care to individuals facing various challenges. This role involves working with clients of all ages, families and groups with mental health conditions in a remote setting. The LCSW will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs by utilizing the DSM-5 for diagnosis, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide mental health counseling to individuals and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Offer specialized care for clients experiencing PTSD and other trauma-related issues.
• Implement behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis as appropriate.
• Engage in case management activities to coordinate care and support services for clients.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
• Provide support and counseling for families of clients, as needed.
• The position is a fee for service-1099 (independent contractor)
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. **ASWB exam for social workers (master's or clinical)** Clinicians with licensure from Rhode Island must have taken the ASWB exam.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, LMSW, LMSW-CC, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT).
• Proficient in DSM-5 and ICD-9 coding
• Experience in mental health counseling, particularly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Proficiency in case management practices and clinical counseling techniques.
• Familiarity with behavioral therapy methods and applied behavior analysis is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in motivational interviewing and individual/group counseling approaches.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field of social work.
